The red color also works as a dwell-time indicator. During cleaning, the color fades in approximately 30 to 180 seconds depending on the proportions of Apple-Trax, sodium hypochlorite, and water. That gives you a practical visual reference for tracking application and determining when the treated surface is ready to rinse. Apple-Trax is designed for use with a soft wash proportioning system and is not intended for downstream injection.

Mixing & Application

- Downstream Injection: Not designed for use through a downstream injection system
Manufacturer Suggested Valve Settings
- Pentair Valve: Use full strength at a 0.5 to 1.5 setting
- Georg Fischer Valve: Use full strength at a 40 setting
