The RIDGID® battery sonde with jet nozzle adapter gives you another way to locate underground drain lines when running a sewer camera isn't practical. The Mustang Nozzles adapter screws onto the sonde and connects the assembly to your jetter hose, allowing water pressure and six rear thrust jets to propel the sonde down the drain.

Once the sonde is in the line, you can use a compatible locator above ground to identify its position. This can help you trace where a drain runs or narrow down the location of a problem before digging or making repairs.

It's especially useful when you don't want to send a camera into the line or when you can't physically push the camera far enough to reach the area you need to locate. Instead of relying on push-rod reach, the jetter sonde adapter uses rear jet thrust to carry the sonde farther into the drain.
