The Rycom SnapTrack Transmitter is designed to energize underground utility lines so they can be traced with compatible locating equipment. Whether you're identifying a main line, following connected services, or mapping utilities before excavation, the transmitter gives you multiple ways to put a traceable signal onto the line.
The SnapTrack supports multi-frequency coupled induction from 8 kHz to 118 kHz along with improved transmitter induction. For direct connections, automatic impedance matching helps the transmitter adjust to the connected utility. The transmitter can also simultaneously apply two frequencies, allowing an operator to locate a main line and other services without repeatedly moving and resetting the transmitter around the site.
Available in 5-watt or 10-watt configurations, the underground utility line transmitter uses weather-proof membrane buttons for field operation. Audible responses confirm user inputs and transmitter status, helping the operator verify settings while working around the jobsite.
